Department summary

"It's just a show!", fairy dust, pull a rabbit out of the hat, curtains close, exit stage left, fade to black. The biggest misconception when it comes to defining creativity is it's synonymous with magic. It's not. Creativity is making connections between variables that didn't seem like they were there. We juxtapose seemingly random elements to create new meaning. Contrary to popular belief, we do not simply "pluck ideas from the air" or pull a rabbit out of a damn hat. As a C27 Creative, you are a champion of empathy. From user experience design to video production, we understand that human beings are ALWAYS the key beneficiaries of our work. We celebrate individualism and personalisation, we are just as weird as how each of our audiences are unique - one size will never fit all. You are a master builder as much as you are an expert assembler. We expect you to be able to tell a story with a camera, just as much as a pen and paper. A "What If-er". Min 2 years of experience in serving creative functions in an organisation or equivalent. Portfolio composition of T2 majority portfolio OR >RM250k portfolio value Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or relevant degree or certification Possess impeccable command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Written & Spoken) Basic knowledge of Google Workspace (Doc, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

  • Make the most out of  ideations and work with the team to bring ideas to life.
  • Able to articulate, rationalize  and defend conceptual and directional choices.
  • Accountable for the final development and production of creative assets.
  • Time allocated will vary but ensure equal and dedication to all bodies of work.
  • Champion the rule of “no Lorem Ipsum” in mockups, you must ensure that words & visuals are of equal priority in any piece of work.

Creative Execution
  • Be a brand steward.
  • Ideate and execute sound creative ideas for client marketing materials in an efficient and economical manner.
  • Create concepts that show a thorough understanding of the strategy and are extendable into campaigns.
  • Write expert, branded copy.
  • Create multiple creative solutions for a given brief; provide a point of view, and communicate it to the wider team.
  • Responsible for gathering all necessary information and materials prior to a brainstorming session to ensure the team is able to kick-start projects in a well-informed manner.
  • Plan concepts by studying information and materials.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of your client’s brand voice and implement it into all creative jobs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with other copywriters, designers, animators, front-end developers, as well as production, strategy and data teams to develop ideas, refine concepts and ensure creative vision is achieved and client expectations are met.

  • To uphold C27’s brand image at all times, during working hours and non-working hours, in-office grounds or out of office grounds.

  • You are to constantly and actively observe C27’s culture and practices, putting in efforts to ensure you uplift the Company’s good name.
