The C27 Content and Community team combines meaningful insights, universal truths, hot topics and a dose of visual artistry to create arresting content and engage with digital communities. They are also responsible for producing content on digital channels and engaging the community in line with a brand’s voice. This is the team that made Netflix one of Malaysia’s favourite brands and levelled up the way McDonald’s engages its biggest fans in the digital age. Requirements
- Fresh graduates possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, English, or a relevant degree or certification.
- Portfolio composition of T3 majority portfolio OR >RM100k portfolio value.
- Possess impeccable command of the English language (Written & Spoken). Other spoken & written languages are a big plus.
- Advanced knowledge producing content on digital channels and engaging the community in line with a brand’s voice.
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and SEO writing knowledge is a plus.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Creative Excellence
- Ensuring the highest quality of work is produced at all times.
- Inspire intent and delight your audience.
- Keeping up with current events and the latest aesthetic trends.
- Make the most of ideations and work with the team to bring ideas to life.
- To be able to articulate, rationalise and defend conceptual and directional choices.
- Accountable for the final development and production of creative assets
- Time allocated will vary, but ensure equal dedication to all bodies of work.
- Championing the rule of “no Lorem Ipsum” in mockups, you must ensure that words & visuals are of equal priority in any piece of work.
- Underpromise, over-deliver.
Creative Execution
- Be a brand steward.
- Ideate and execute sound, creative ideas for client marketing materials efficiently and economically.
- Create concepts that clearly understand the strategy and are extendable into campaigns.
- Write expert, branded copy.
- Create multiple creative solutions for a given brief, provide a point of view, and communicate it to the wider team.
- Assist in gathering all necessary information and materials before a brainstorming session to ensure the team can kick-start projects in a well-informed manner.
- Plan concepts by studying information and materials.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of your client’s brand voice and implement it into all creative jobs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Work independently and collaboratively with other content writers, designers, animators, front-end developers, production, strategy, and data teams to develop ideas, refine concepts, and ensure the creative vision is achieved and client expectations are met.
- Team up with peers to overcome obstacles and create client success.
- Work within given deadlines.
- Prioritise workload and manage your own time effectively.
Project Management & Coordination
- Manage and ensure timely tasks and work closely with the Account Management Team.
- Be able to advise the Account Management Team on realistic hours needed for each task.
Content Writing Excellence
- Able to write in a wide range of tone and manner according to a client’s industry.
Internal Initiatives
- To work closely with others to execute & drive internal special projects as initiated by the CEO.
- Keep an eye out for awards/case study work across the C27 portfolio of clients.
- To ensure the brand image (visually) of C27 is consistent throughout while working with the internal branding team.
Other Responsibilities
General Responsibilities

Ensure effective interdepartmental collaboration.
To adhere to superior’s directions, instructions, & recommendations.
To ensure all works down are of high quality with little to no errors.
To ensure all projects are submitted promptly: with precise contents, a clean format.
Responsibilities towards the Company
To be responsible for the safekeeping and general usage of the Company’s assets in employee possession and the usage of Company facilities provided.
To be dressed presentably and to maintain professionalism during client meetings.
To uphold C27’s brand image at all times, during working hours and non-working hours, in-office grounds or out of office grounds.
Miscellaneous Responsibilities
