  • Works closely with art-based creatives to develop and execute creative solutions that work with an overarching concept.

  • Create a balanced environment for your team to fail safely.
  • Lead and manage a team of creatives in the development and delivery of creative solutions across multiple clients and platforms.
  • Accountable for the final development and production of creative assets.
  • Attention to detail in evaluating creative work.
  • Mentor and onboard other writers as needed.
  • Offer client and team members innovative advice and solutions from industry examples and experience.
  • Help organize, maintain, and oversee creative standards and guidelines.
  • Offer insight on creative briefs and schedules.
  • Mentor and guide your juniors - give them the space to explore and fall if necessary, but know that it is your job to intervene and enlighten if necessary, too.
  • Continue to learn and support your seniors and be open enough to accept the fact that you do not know everything yet.
  • Responsible for debriefing Copywriters / Junior Copywriters/ Freelancers / Vendors on how to carry out execution work together with the Creative Group Head.


Creative Execution

  • Be a brand steward.
    Ideate and execute sound creative ideas for client marketing materials in an efficient and economical manner.
  • Create concepts that show a thorough understanding of the strategy and are extendable into campaigns.
    Write expert, branded copy.
  • Create multiple creative solutions for a given brief; provide a point of view, and communicate it to the wider team.
  • Responsible for gathering all necessary information and materials prior to a brainstorming session to ensure the team is able to kick-start projects in a well-informed manner.
  • Plan concepts by studying information and materials.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of your client’s brand voice and implement it into all creative jobs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with other copywriters, designers, animators, front-end developers, as well as production, strategy and data teams to develop ideas, refine concepts and ensure creative vision is achieved and client expectations are met.
  • Team up with peers to overcome obstacles and create client success.
  • Work within given deadlines.
  • Prioritise workload and manage time effectively - personally and for the team as needed.
  • Assist your Creative Group Head / Associate Creative Director in managing and coordinating production shoots (Photo Shoots, Events, Production Houses, etc.).


New Business Conversion

  • In charge of developing business proposals in accordance with the agreed/approved creative direction.
  • In charge of delegating proposal development work as necessary to junior creatives, ensuring that they understand the fundamentals of the approved creative direction and produce work that bring said direction to life.

General Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with others - Encourage discourse and critical thinking in collaborations with others.


  • Ensure effective interdepartmental collaboration.


  • To adhere to superior’s directions, instructions, & recommendations.


  • To ensure all works produced are of high quality with little to no errors.


  • To ensure all projects are submitted promptly, with precise contents and in a clean format.

Responsibilities towards the Company

  • To be responsible for the safekeeping and general usage of the Company’s assets in employee possession and the usage of Company facilities provided.


  • To be dressed presentably and to maintain professionalism during client meetings.

  • To uphold C27’s brand image at all times, during working hours and non-working hours, in-office grounds or out of office grounds. 

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

  • You are constantly observing C27’s culture and practices, putting in efforts to ensure you uplift the Company’s good name.
  • Min 4 years of experience in managing a team and serving creative functions in an organisation or equivalent. 
  • Portfolio composition of  T2 majority portfolio OR >RM250k portfolio value.
  • Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, English, or relevant degree or certification.
  • Possess impeccable command of the English language (Written & Spoken).
  • Basic knowledge of Google Workspace (Doc, Sheets, Slides, etc.), SEO writing knowledge is a plus.
