Junior Account Manager
Purpose — Builds and maintains positive client relationships for the agency. Collaborates with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges, providing necessary resources, personnel, and budgets for successful campaigns. Leverage data and market trends to inform strategy and ensure deadlines and budgets are met. By reviewing campaigns for quality and consistency, we deliver results that meet client objectives. We foster an environment of trust and collaboration to guarantee success for our clients and the agency.
Requirements
Fresh graduate that possess a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field and has strong interest in advertising or marketing
Portfolio composition of T3 majority portfolio OR >RM100k portfolio value.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
High adaptability on learning and project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
Important requirement is to have the ability to stay up-to-date with trends and developments.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Account Management
Develop, nurture, and maintain healthy client relationships.
Assist in understanding clients’ advertising needs, objectives, and challenges to develop effective campaigns.
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, media, vendors) to ensure successful campaign execution.
Assist in developing and monitoring timelines, and action plans for campaigns.
Assist in preparing and presenting (need basis) campaigns and presentations to clients.
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate this knowledge into advertising strategies.
Collect and incorporate client feedback to continuously improve project processes and deliverables.
Assist Account Managers in creating comprehensive progress and performance reports with actionable insights.
Client Relationship Management
Assist in fostering and maintaining client relationships, providing basic consultancy on the services provided.
Support in understanding client needs, requirements, and project constraints, and communicate them to the internal team.
Help manage client expectations regarding work scope, deliveries, and limitations.
Assist in ensuring client approvals and sign-offs are received according to the timeline.
Collaborate with internal teams, including creative and media, to support the execution of advertising campaigns.
Resource Planning and Management
Assist in planning and managing the team’s workload on a daily and weekly basis, ensuring a balance of workload across.
Assist in planning project teams’ allocation for proposals and new projects, targeting 6 months visibility.
Ensure resource availability by utilising tools such as Teamwork platform.
Ensure milestones are created and updated as the project moves along.
Campaign Execution
Assist in the execution of digital and social media campaigns.
Assist in monitoring campaign performance and prepare initial data reports.
Support senior team members in making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Ensure campaigns are on-brand and aligned with client messaging under supervision.
Vendor Management
Assist in building a comprehensive database and maintain strong relationships with all vendors.
Assist in negotiating with vendors on payment terms and additional discounts (when necessary) to meet margins.
Assist in ensuring C27 keeps a healthy database of vendors at all times
Assist in engaging with vendors to ensure workflow and work output quality.
Assist in coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Platform Management
Ensure all projects are broken down to milestones and tasks via Teamwork.
Reducing lead time between brief to task assignment targeting < 4 hours.
Manage and nurture low level data to aid into department level reporting under performance marketing platform/dashboard.
Maintain apacity and productivity report and ensure accuracy.
Avoid repetitive work, optimise and automate processes wherever necessary.
Internal Initiatives
To work closely (when selected) to execute & drive internal special projects as initiated by the CEO.
To ensure the brand image (visually) of C27 is consistent throughout while working with the internal branding team.
Other Responsibilities
General Responsibilities

Ensure all works produced are of high quality with little to no errors.
Ensure all projects are submitted promptly, with precise contents and clean format.
Responsibilities towards the Company
To be responsible for the safekeeping and general usage of the Company’s assets in employee possession and Company facilities provided.
To be dressed presentably and to maintain professionalism during client meetings.
To uphold C27’s brand image at all times, during working and non-working hours, in-office or out-of-office grounds.
Miscellaneous Responsibilities
- You constantly observe C27’s culture and practices, working to uplift the Company’s good name.
