Junior Analyst
Purpose — Explorer, hunter, gatherer, planner, time traveller, debater, researcher. The cerebral front line of the C27 collective.
Requirements
Fresh graduates that possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Communications, Media, Statistics, or relevant degree or certification.
Portfolio composition of T3 majority portfolio OR <RM100k portfolio value
Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Communications, Media, Statistics, or relevant degree or certification.
Working knowledge of Facebook, Google, LinkedIn Ad platforms (and other major search, display,video and social tools)
Basic knowledge of analytical tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel. Basic knowledge of Google Workspace ( Doc, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Excellence
Build a strong understanding of your clients’ business challenges and goals.
Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, developing hypotheses and actionable insights from data sets related to everything from eCommerce shopping carts to online video.
Understand the client’s audiences, objectives, and priorities, and lead the definition of solutions to meet these needs
Recommend and provide strategic direction on product, experience, and/or communications initiatives, identifying the key value proposition, consumer needs, and value to the business.
Identify key opportunities to drive client value and collaborate with clients to add value to their business and educate them on digital marketing excellence.
Be proactive, challenge with effective debate, and identify what the agenda for future discussion should be.
Assist in client workshops and research sessions.
Craft compelling narratives in presentations and to influence your findings of performance to internal stakeholders and external parties (e.g. agency, vendors or publishers)
Able to grasp basic understanding of quantitative and qualitative data and translate it into data visualisation and storytelling.
Ability to make decisions and to not overthink to avoid “analysis paralysis”.
High Performance Execution
Assist team on developing & optimising acquisition campaigns on digital channels, including Search, Display, Mobile, and Social.
Assist team in setting up campaigns and keep monitoring campaign performance and pacing, as well as conduct performance analyses on a regular basis, using a data informed approach to optimise campaigns.
Assist in preparing reports and optimise dashboards to provide clients and management information and insights that helps to improve the business performance.
Work with the Business Intelligence team to complete reporting requirements: market and competitive insights, digital media buying tactics, proof of activity, acceptance as required.
Assist the seniors in planning (create media schedule) full funnel tactics for social and various digital activations (i.e. awareness, consideration and conversion touchpoints including eCommerce requirements) across multiple Paid Social, Native and Audio platforms including but not limited to – Core platforms: Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter required; Additional platforms such as Spotify, TikTok, Taboola and Zafigo.
Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure acquisition goals are met.
Assist in preparing presentations and presenting to senior-level clients, combining your ability to generate insights with your data through visualisation and storytelling.
Assist in configure and deploy website tagging and analytics tools for site implementations, including custom events, variables and dimensions.
Strategic Direction & Problem Solving
Assist in gathering and analyzing data to support strategic initiatives.
Provide basic insights on market trends and client business direction.
Support the development and maintenance of the Marketing Calendar and Content Strategy under guidance.
Research, Analytics, Planning, Deployment
Conduct preliminary research on market trends and consumer behavior to support campaign planning.
Assist in developing basic strategies for sales attribution and follower acquisition on digital channels.
Help in reviewing and analyzing data to support data-driven decisions for campaigns and activations.
Assist in preparing basic reports and managing dashboards, providing essential insights to clients and management.
Support the preparation of presentations by gathering and organizing data for senior team members.
Documentation
- Assist in updating the operational documentation for archive purposes or to upskill the internal working team
Collaboration
Advocate data driven decision making and effective interdepartmental collaboration.
Assist in effective discussions and critical thinking in collaborations with internal teams and external agency partners.
