Performance Marketing Manager

Requirements

  1. 6+ years of experience in digital or performance marketing, with at least 1–2 years in a mentorship and guidance capacity
  2. Portfolio composition of  T2 majority portfolio OR >RM250k portfolio value
  3. Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Communications, Media, Statistics, or relevant degree or certification
  4. Proven expertise in Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and other paid platform
  5. Intermediate knowledge of analytical tools such as Google Data Studio, Meta Ads Manager, Taboola and Microsoft Excel. Basic knowledge of Google Workspace ( Doc, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  6. Strong understanding and application of existing data into optimization strategies and plans
  7. Strong understanding of media measurement, attribution models, and marketing funnels
  8. Experience managing cross-functional teams or projects
  9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  10. Comfortable presenting strategy and performance insights to C-level or senior clients

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

High Performance Execution​

  1. Oversee the development and optimization of complex acquisition campaigns across diverse digital channels.
  2. Lead the monitoring of campaign performance and pacing, conducting advanced analyses and implementing data-driven optimizations.
  3. Develop advanced reports and dashboards, providing deep insights and strategic recommendations for clients and management.
  4. Work with the Business Intelligence team to complete reporting requirements: market and competitive insights, digital media buying tactics, proof of activity, acceptance as required.
  5. Strategically plan and manage full-funnel tactics, including awareness, consideration, and conversion touchpoints across multiple platforms(Paid Social, Native and Audio platforms including but not limited to – Core platforms: Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter required; Additional platforms such as Spotify, TikTok, Taboola and Zafigo.)
  6. Oversee the execution of campaign activities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals across multiple industries.
  7. Maintain high-level certifications (e.g., Facebook Blueprint Planner and Buyer) and apply them to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  8. Lead cross-functional teams and stakeholder collaboration to achieve and exceed acquisition goals.
  9. Develop and deliver high-impact presentations to senior-level clients, using advanced data visualization and storytelling techniques.
  10. Ensure effective and strategic communication with all stakeholders, maintaining transparency and alignment.
  11. Oversee the deployment of website tagging and analytics tools, including sophisticated configurations and custom implementations.

Team Leadership

  1. Being the go-to senior when the Strategy Director isn’t available
  2. Inspire and guide team members to enhance their skills and thought processes, acting as a secondary mentor and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  3. Suggest and implement new workshops or short-courses to support the professional development of team members, ensuring they stay updated with the latest industry practices and tools
  4. Keeping the team in tune with new and/or current practices and trends
  5. Regular check-ins to ensure the general health and welfare of the team

 

Stakeholder and Partner Management

  1. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with agency partners, including Media, Brand, Creative, and Research, ensuring their contributions align with acquisition objectives
  2. Establish communication protocols and frameworks to ensure consistent and effective messaging to clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners
  3. Lead cross-agency collaboration, ensuring that all partners are aligned with the overall strategy and working synergistically towards common goals

 

Client Management

  1. Cultivate high-level relationships with senior client executives, positioning the company as a strategic partner.
  2. Drive the development of comprehensive strategic plans that align with clients’ long-term business objectives and market trends.
  3. Offer strategic advice on optimizing business processes, leveraging extensive industry expertise and data-driven insights.
  4. Facilitate strategic meetings with clients, focusing on business growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  5. Lead the resolution of complex client issues, coordinating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
  6. Develop and execute strategies for up-selling and cross-selling, aligning these efforts with clients’ strategic goals.
  7. Ensure comprehensive contract management, including compliance monitoring, negotiations, and adjustments as needed.

 

Account Retention & New Business Conversion

  1. Sustain and retain existing accounts.
  2. Convert new potential business into projects or retainers.

 

Collaboration

  1. Advocate data driven decision making and effective interdepartmental collaboration.
  2. Encourage effective discussions and critical thinking in collaborations with internal teams and external agency partners.

 

Campaign Execution & Oversight

  1. Oversee the end-to-end implementation of campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others including optimization strategies and plans
  2. Ensure campaigns are optimized toward clear performance goals (CPA, ROAS, LTV, etc.)
  3. Guide testing strategies (creative, bidding, targeting) and implement performance improvements

Reporting & Analysis

  1. Build and review reports using tools like Google Data Studio, Analytics, and platform-specific insights
  2. Drive campaign insights into strategic recommendations for optimization
  3. Ensure timely, accurate, and impactful reporting to clients

Other Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with others – Encourage discourse and critical thinking in collaborations with others.

  2. Ensure effective interdepartmental collaboration.

  3. To adhere to superior’s directions, instructions, & recommendations.

  4. To ensure all works down are of high quality with little to no errors.

  5. To ensure all projects are submitted promptly: with precise contents, a clean format.

Responsibilities towards the Company

  1. To be responsible for the safekeeping and general usage of the Company’s assets in employee possession and the usage of Company facilities provided.

  2. To be dressed presentably and to maintain professionalism during client meetings.

  3. To uphold C27’s brand image at all times, during working hours and non-working hours, in-office grounds or out of office grounds.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

  1. You constantly observe C27’s culture and practices, working to uplift the Company’s good name.
